Businesswoman of Seattle, Washington. Born Laura Sender in Russia, 1894. The Sender family immigrated to Canada and homesteaded in Camper, Manitoba, 1911-1919. Berch came to Seattle circa 1917, after her marriage to Michael Berch. Founding member of Seattle Hadassah and president, 1934-1936. Died in May of 1989.
